Jewelry Care
At GANJ, every piece is designed to be worn, lived with, and collected over time.
Silver naturally changes with wear. Small marks, a softer finish, or a subtle patina are not imperfections, they are part of the story your jewelry tells. With the right care, your piece will remain with you for years to come.
Everyday Care
Put your jewelry on last, after applying skincare, perfume, makeup, or hairspray.
Avoid contact with household cleaners, chemicals, and cosmetics.
Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping.
Store each piece separately in its original GANJ box or a soft pouch to prevent scratches.
Avoid unnecessary friction with other jewelry.
Cleaning
Sterling silver naturally develops a patina over time.
To restore its shine, gently clean your jewelry using warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush. Dry thoroughly with a soft polishing cloth.
For light tarnishing, a silver polishing cloth is usually enough. If deeper cleaning is needed, use a professional silver cleaning solution. Pieces featuring gemstones or colored details should not be immersed in cleaning baths.
Gold-Plated Pieces
Gold plating is a delicate layer of gold applied over sterling silver. Like all plated jewelry, it will gradually fade with everyday wear, especially through friction, moisture, and contact with chemicals.
This natural aging is expected and does not affect the quality of the piece itself.
When the plating eventually softens, we can restore your jewelry through our replating service.
Restoration
Every GANJ piece is made to last.
If your jewelry loses its original finish or simply needs professional care after years of wear, our restoration service can help bring it back to its best condition.
